When you go away for vacation, why not let an experiance rabbitry take care of your rabbit. Water is so essential and neighbors and family might not realize signs of heat stress or eating problems.
I can only care for outside kept rabbits during the summer and winter. Inside kept rabbits can only adapt to outdoors during the fall and spring on short notice (65-80 degrees).
They can use their own cage or we can provide a cage in some circumstances. Our cages range from 1.5'x2.25' to 2'x2', these are made for rabbits up to 4lbs. Our cages also have resting grates and a drop through cleaning system. Because of this hay bedding is then only provided in the winter/fall.
Solid bottom cage: must use pine bedding, no exceptions.
Hay bedding and pine bedding has to be changed daily.
I provide timothy hay, water, clean enviornment, love and attention.
You have to provide their regular feed, brush and treats if any. They must have a information card filled out upon arrival: that includes name, sex, address, feeding schedule, habits, outside grass time if requested and emergancy #'s.
No minimum stay requirements, but there is a 14 day maximum. Exception: military with a rabbit lodging contract signed.
